The resort is facing the South China Sea and is set in extensive gardens and about a kilometre to the nearest village. There is nothing within walking distance of the resort and our guests are expected to give themselves up to total rest, relaxation and rejuvenation.
When you have enough of gardens, clean and quiet beach, the resort has a pool and Pool Bar, coffee shop, lobby lounge and bar, fun pub and recreation centre which conduct activities such as malay lesson, top spinning, cookery demonstration, mahjong lesson... and also arranges local excursions such as bird watching, nature trail, river cruise, firefly cruise, malay house visit and a trial to foot reflexology and massages... to horse ridings or riding lessons. Kindawan is Sabah's most established riding centre and offers a range of rides and lessons. First times can opt to have a trial of 15 minutes ride. All rides are lead by experienced tour leaders to ensure your safety and comfort. Our well trained horses are suitable to all riders including beginners and children.
Kindawan is fully equipped with practise yards, stable and supported by a 3 star resort with full amenities for the comfort of the riders.

Situated ideally at the 6 kilometre long Sabandar Beach, you can conveniently ride on long streches of sandy beach. - Beach and Village Rides
Longer rides through the country road and villages where you can see the village life of the Bajau tribe of Sabah and return via the sandy beaches. - Beach and Mangrove Rides
Longer ride through the wetlands and mangrove where you can see the water buffaloes, egrets, birds and macaques in their mangrove habitats. Return via the sandy beaches. - Riding Lessons
Basic riding from beginner level. Dressage, jumping to competition standards. Payable per lesson or in advance for package of 10 lessons (less 10%). We also offer individual and group lessons. Riders are advised to wear suitable riding attire.
